Weekly Blackhawks Update

Tyler and I have been enthusiastically cheering on our favorite hockey team, the one and only Chicago Blackhawks. We are happy to announce that the Blackhawks are leading the series, 2-1. Stay tuned for more updates and get your cheer on!

Facts & Stats

Ilya Bryzgalov made 19 saves in game 3 to record his first NHL playoff shutout since 2006, when he was minding the net for the Anaheim Mighty Ducks.

What to Watch For

The return of 2 "regulars" to the Hawks lineup: Minnesota native, Nick Leddy, will be back on the ice after being a "healthy scratch" in game 3. In addition, Coach Q remains optimistic about the status of winger, Andrew Shaw, who has been out since suffering a lower-body injury during game 1.

The "X" Factor

Blackhawk's Sniper Patrick Sharp, known as a "big money" player. #10 has had a very quiet playoff thus far. Look for him to insert himself in the stat sheet by firing pucks at the net and putting himself in a position to capitalize 2nd chance opportunities.
